Our M model was the first pickup we designed for Meshuggahs Fredrik Thordendahl and his 7-string guitars. In jiddish, meshuggah means roughly crazy/mad and we think you´ll fall madly in love with a model M pickup with lots of power and attitude. Fredrik Thordendahl says, This pickup is out of this world. The pickup is well known both for high power and clarity. The design is a combination of a unique winding and a ceramic magnet placed under the pickup to give you more of everything and caused many players to give up active pickups. With lots of gain on your amp, harmonics is a piece of cake. The powerful high output M model humbucker let your notes come through even with lots of distortion on your amp. The pickup has lots of low end.

Hardest pickup on the market
After a long time with both EMG's and Lundgren's. I come to conclusions that Lundgren is easier to listen for my ear. Both have their strong points. But what you feel when listening to your own tone ?.... Is it timeless? Is it too much of something? Does it support the song? Does it sit right in the mix?
Lundgrens are pretty transparent and guitars tonewood and even a choice of pick comes through. There is no discussion about the tonewood in this site. I found lundgrens work good on any balanced guitar... They just deliver a lot of everything like Ev12l speaker. More is more!

I've finally found the pickup that gives me the metal tone I've always wanted. Fat, angry and great low end. This lets me have solid palm mutes (even really choked out ones) in any tuning range. These pickups offer clarity AND fatness, which is amazing.
I've bought an M6 for my 30" baritone tuned an octave lower, and an M7 for my 7string in drop A. Both guitars now really sing. Of course, if you are looking for a classic rock tone, there are other pickups. But the M series is a win for metal, at least in my book. Ordering another M7 soon for my new custom built guitar.
