The Anomaly 6

I wanted to swap the Dimarzio Fusion's my Ibanez RGAIX6FM came with because they were too muddy. These are the polar opposites. They have a learning curve because they are so clear you can't hide your mistakes!
Got recommended these by Morgan at Musikanten, Umeå. He sent me audio samples comparing these to Fishman's, BKP's, SD's and these sounded the clearest. They work for a variety of musical genres. I play Metal and Fusion. I met Per Nilsson at House of Metal last year so of course I had to tell him that I got these for my guitar.

I'm very pleased with the results so far after changing a couple of my Ibanez guitars to the Anomaly in the bridge position. The surprise was how musical the Anomaly is. Plenty of bite and punch for high gain, it responds really well to dynamic changes in pick attack, and to my ears the magic is how it sings on lead work. Just a phenomenal pickup and I'm really happy with it. Great communication during the ordering process as my pups needed some customization, both are f-spaced with white bobbins, etc. (thanks for the help, Johan!)

I have multiple Lundgren pickups in different guitars so I guess you can call me a fanboy but regardless of that, I like those anomalies as much as my favorite ones (BJFE & The One) and I have only been playing them for the past 2 weeks.
Super clear and balanced, distorted or clean, they’ve replaced my fishman modern vintage and I don’t miss them…

I was looking for something more compelling than the in-house pickups that came stock in my Ibanez, and these are fantastic. Great clarity and plenty of punch, The Anomaly are a versatile and powerful set. My order was somewhat complicated for shipping but the coordination via email was fantastic and everything worked out great.
