This puppy makes your bass sing and / or growl wether your playing clean or distorted.

I bought a Fender Vintera 60s Mod Jazzmaster and thought it was way too bright. Even with the tone knob rolled off completely. After setup i swapped the pickups to a Lundgren set and changed the pots to 250k. It's now one of my main guitars, sounds killer and is always my main guitar when gigging with the band.

Wonderful tone and output on this humbucker. It’s very nicely made and provides plenty of clarity and power in high gain tones. It also holds its ground in clean and gritty soundscapes.

I have only good things to say about the order as well as the product. The build and delivery were really fast. Johan also reacted promptly to my stupid questions. Everything top notch. As well as the pickup. Unbelievably balanced and versatile pickup, with tons of clarity and dynamics, yet handling high gain perfectly and can sound brutal if it needs to be brutal. I am primarily an extreme/prog metal player and I will use it for metal rhythms but I can clearly hear that you could play a wide spectrum of genres with it. This is my first Lundgren pickup, but hopefully not last. Cheers from Slovakia.

I used to play in drop F and below ( drop E, D#, D )

This pickup has incredible clarity and definition for playing in such low tunings, it is super balanced in the mids, we are far from the nasal wah wah sound of certain pickups, especially since baritone guitars tend to accentuate the high-mid and midrange. Pleasant compression and depth in pal-mutes, very tight pickup but not dry.

I had the pleasant surprise of being able to use it for lead and even clean with effects that fit easily into the mix.

Stop thinking if you play that low, this is the pickup you need!

Köpte och monterade denna på en i övrigt original Fender Jazzbas, och wow vilken skillnad. Riktigt bra brilljans och klarhet i ljudet, utan att tappa botten. Responsen när man vrider på tonkontrollen blev många gånger bättre än orginal. Rekommenderar starkt.

I was on the hunt for a new guitar and I recently bought a schecter solo 2 supreme that comes equipped with these pickups. I couldn’t be happier.

I was originally recommended a PRS guitar with SD pickups that were supposed to be good for metal, and I was so disappointed when I tried it. The output was surprisingly low and although they were extremely clear, the treble was so overpowering, they sounded terrible to me and no amp or pickup settings seemed to correct it. The sound felt like hollow cold CNC steel. Not my vibe at all, I want hot hammer forged iron!

By happenstance I came across the schecter with these lundgren pickups and I was in love. They have meaty, tight lows, powerful attack, and can still do the creamy clean trebles and mids, and the clarity is awesome. They definitely are top performing metal pickups, but I love that they are still versatile. Great sustain too. I just love how these sound. I even tried them with my little headphone practice amp and they even make that sound good. You don’t have to fuss with settings to get them to sound just right, it’s more like you can spend hours playing with the sound because they are really so wonderful at any setting. How do you choose only one setting when everything sounds good?

They sound fantastic. I tried a lot of different Lundgren pickups for my strat. They are all very interesting and diverse!
I ended up with this set because the are meaty, but not like an overwound pickup. They are clear and doesn't compress when you play hard.
The set is well balanced and I'm not afraid to switch between any positions, even though I went with a bottomplate in the bridge.
It's a world class pickup, a rich spectrum of sound and it gives me so much joy and excitement to play!

My guitar is a Greco, a strat copy from -79 and it's not built exactly as the real Fenders, so there was some work fitting them in there. Mr. Lundgren himself helped me install them and did a great job. The service is outstanding and Johan and his colleagues are so kind and caring.

I'am a huge stratocaster fan and the strat sound. I have a strat with Fender Fat50C.Shop PU Set. I did like them alot.
Did put '50 formvar set on my squire 50's vibe. Wow I got that strat sound I been looking for! Totally blown away, I never play on the bridge pickup but I do that now!
Just buy them and be amazed!
