from 285 reviewsI was looking for a high output humbucker in the bridge position that was similar to the Lundgren designed pickups in my Hagstrom Fantomen. That pickup is extremely clear and tight in the low end, unlike any other passive pickup that I had ever heard. I got in touch with Johan and he recommended the Suckerbucker. What shall I say, it's perfect. Loud, great mid range and very tight in the lows. I especially love it in parallel mode.

When you know everything as a customer, it is easy to buy something by clicking in the webshop. I my case, I use a wider bridge compared to standard fender bridge. I was not aware of what the market could give me. I had one idea of what I wanted when it comes to string to string distance. I placed the order by phone and I was in good hands. After having received proposals by mail of which model to choose. The pickup now is beautifully installed with the magnets below each string.
I keep things simple. Just the guitar and one amplifier. I use a fender champ amplifier. It has 16 different level of dist/overdrive. I have played this amp with a Seymor Duncan hot rail before on the 15th level of overdrive, the 16th is too dirty. With Heaven 77 I could turn down to 14 or so and still a very hard rock sound with a lot of energy. A single slight pick of a string made me feel amazed by the sound that I could only hope to find. Now I found it. The balance seems to be very nice. Nice finish as well. Not as a feeling, Eddie Van Halen was actually playing my guitar in my home. More than a feeling, da daa da da dadadaa, , da daa dadadadaa. (smile)
It is not every day you buy something directly from the manufacturer. It is not every day that you can buy something from someone who has a true calling and has
made it a life mission.

I really love precise and punchy Humbucker. I compared the M6 with the SH4 and Suhr DSH. I like all, but I would prefer the SH4 actually, I don’t know why. But the M6 is more balanced and really clear in all frequencies. Actually the M6 is my new favorite Humbucker.

It takes time to truly appreciate all the qualities of pickups. After one year of use, the Sucker Bucker (Bridge) and the Smooth Operator (Neck) became my favorite pickups, why ?
• Their clarity: From crystal-clear tones to high saturation, they never betray the sound.
• They are incredibly versatile: You can always find a pleasant tone with them, with no imbalance between bass and treble.
• They can deliver a delightful light crunch or push out a powerful sound while always remaining precise and well-defined.
• The neck pickup, "Smooth Operator," works wonders in both clean and overdriven settings, which is quite surprising.
• I regularly use them in split mode or with phase inversion, and they make any guitar equipped with them the most versatile one I own.
• On the rare occasions I play with others, my sound always cuts through the mix beautifully.
Definitely a very good choice whatever your musical style.

I just installed the Revolver set into a Schecter Jack Fowler strat, and all I can say is WOW!!!! I feel almost like this is a life altering event, I honestly CAN'T BELIEVE how nice these pickups sound! So much harmonic content, and so much balance and clarity, I'm simply amazed at how beautiful they sound! Just unbelievable. I feel that they are going to literally change the way I play guitar, just because of the way I can now hear and feel all the subtle dynamics and expression of each note... the way notes interact with each other... It feels like I'm hearing my guitar in high definition now! And the touch sensitivity! I suddenly feel like there's a whole world of guitar playing that I haven't really explored in all my years on the instrument, and I'm so excited about it!
These have some of the bite and clarity that you get from a great single coil pickups, but you also get more body and a powerful growl like a humbucker. The best of both worlds. Everything I've ever wanted out of a pickup!

After a long time with both EMG's and Lundgren's. I come to conclusions that Lundgren is easier to listen for my ear. Both have their strong points. But what you feel when listening to your own tone ?.... Is it timeless? Is it too much of something? Does it support the song? Does it sit right in the mix?
Lundgrens are pretty transparent and guitars tonewood and even a choice of pick comes through. There is no discussion about the tonewood in this site. I found lundgrens work good on any balanced guitar... They just deliver a lot of everything like Ev12l speaker. More is more!

I got a Keith merrow sig Schecter with these pickups and they are great 😊😊😊😉😉

First time hearing a Lundgren pickup in person...have used active pickups and the other passives for years......and this smokes them all........but it's not just harsh to be harsh it's extremely versatile and really articulates your picking dynamics.....I'm a long time Meshuggah fan and now understand the Lundgren way......

So crisp and tight sounding, an amazing pairing with an SG,, Rock on!!

My all time favourite and de facto go to passive bass soapbar humbucker.
This puppy makes your bass sing and / or growl wether your playing clean or distorted.
Never can go wrong with Lundgren!
Love this thing, highly recommend!

Ville ha den som ett komplement till min gitarr med en Heaven 57 i. Den levererade på alla plan! Grymt sound som gjorde exakt det jag ville! Som en 57:a men med en touch! Klockren.

I bought a Fender Vintera 60s Mod Jazzmaster and thought it was way too bright. Even with the tone knob rolled off completely. After setup i swapped the pickups to a Lundgren set and changed the pots to 250k. It's now one of my main guitars, sounds killer and is always my main guitar when gigging with the band.
Michael/Langhorns

Japp, Lundgren's gjorde, som förväntat, min brors mycket välbyggda strata komplett. Tackar!
